Partner Alliance Marketing Manager (US or UK Remote)

As DoiT continues to build and grow marketing to be a strategic function for the business, investment in a strong programmatic approach to building and nurturing relationships with our go-to-market customers and partners is essential. This role will be the first Alliance Marketing leader for the company and is expected to involve building a team of direct reports and a vendor ecosystem to enable success of the charter.
What is the charter of a Partner Alliance Manager at DoiT?
You will create a strategy and framework for DoiT’s customers, partners and alliance members to come together with the mission to drive increased market share and revenue growth. As a global multi-cloud reseller and managed service provider for Google Cloud, DoiT has a robust roster of digital native clients creating a unique opportunity to collaborate and amplify the ability to accelerate business outcomes for mutual success.
What you will do:
Create, launch, manage and grow an Alliance program to enable DoiT customers and partners to grow revenue and market share. You will be the central spokesperson and champion of this new program.
Ensure the DoiT brand, capabilities and successes are well published, current and socialized with the public cloud providers, including production of collateral and partner enablement kits to present the value of DoiT to cloud partners and enable them to best position DoiT to their clients.
Support the successful execution and growth of DoiT’s global Meet Ups and customer communities capitalizing on thought leadership, brand awareness and curation of technical content across social channels, virtual, and physical events.
Act as a central hub for the development, publication and amplification of success stories and customer wins with the cloud vendors, DoiT technical partners, and named go-to-market customers.
Manage and grow relationships with relevant organizations and channels including finops.org, Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), CRN, and the like.
Create a presence on doit-intl.com to promote the Alliance charter and DoiT partner strategy, evangelizing the DoiT brand with the broader ecosystem.
Manage our messaging and communication plan to our key vendor sales teams - GCP. Align marketing calendar and our messaging to GCP field sellers.
We are looking for someone who is a passionate builder with a tendency to THINK BIG. You have a tested playbook, but approach each project with creativity, taking lessons learned from past successes and failures. You are articulate and have exemplary public speaking skills, and are comfortable with a mix of tactical and strategic work. This person will work closely with field sales, regional marketing, corporate communications and business operations to ensure we are effectively supporting the company’s strategic business goals. This person will not only help execute, but will be involved in shaping our partner positioning, program design, and GTM strategy.
5+ years successful track record of developing strategic alliances, managing technology reseller programs and/or supporting channel partner sales & marketing programs
Experience with field sales enablement, messaging, and training
Strong familiarity with public cloud ecosystem, partner programs and IT decision makers
Proven leadership skills and ability to bring along others to your way of thinking.
Vendor management experience
Familiarity working in a partner ecosystem developing and executing joint marketing plans
Accustomed to working cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product to achieve targets
Experience leading annual planning, budgeting and reporting
Familiarity with Hubspot CRM, HTML and WordPress CMS
